Vince Rush, Business Development Manager - From the early days of his career, serving in the US Navy as a Photographer and traveling with the likes of Bob Hope and Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton, to funding his way through college with his own health club and tanning salon, Vince has developed a creative and visionary approach to business networking and leadership development – an approach he now brings to My Home My Choice.
Vince said that he joined the My Home, My Choice team first and foremost because of the integrity of those who run the company, and secondly because he truly believes in the need for a single source, credible supplier who can “do the job top to bottom,” transforming a residence into a safe, secure home in which to age-in-place.
“The My Home mission really hits home for me,” he said.

is tasked with performing the Home Assessment and Safety Inspection, preparing the HASR and reviewing subsequent recommendations with homeowners and their family members. In doing so, he goes through the home room by room, assessing, evaluating and looking for potentially dangerous situations. “We try to be really proactive in trying to avoid injuries altogether. We are hopefully keeping that accident from happening to begin with,” he said, noting that too often it is after an accident has occurred that home modifications become a priority.
With this job, he said, comes the satisfaction of knowing you are helping people to be safe in their own home. “You feel more comfortable knowing that these things are in place to help people who cannot get around as well… to my knowledge this is the only place that is doing this type of thing in a comprehensive manner.” he said.

Jim Hodge, Senior Installation Technician has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has owned and operated his own remodeling company for the last six years. An avid golfer and an all around positive and happy person, he is very conscientious and takes pride in the quality of his work. Having aging parents of his own, he understands both the value of the product and the customer service needs of his clients. “I believe that people of every age have the need for quality service and I believe that the My Home staff has provided such a service. I am proud to be a part of something that has so many positive ideas and values,” he said. “I enjoy the satisfaction on the clients face when their job or project has been completed … especially with seniors who have a tendency to worry more about such things. When the job is complete it’s like a large weight has been lifted for them,” he added. |
