At My Home, My Choice we recognize that there are actions you can take to adapt your environment to minimize risk and maximize independence.

We also recognize that many Seniors are not equipped to handle and or manage home modifi- cation projects themselves; nor are they fully educated on all the areas of improvement that will reduce risk of injury or accident.

It is for those reasons that we developed our unique Home Assessment and Safety Report (HASR), which is a no cost, no obligation comprehensive evaluation of the convenience, safety, and security features of your home as compared to Senior independent living standards.
We look at everything from bathroom accessibility to floor transition thresholds to whether or not you have throw rugs that might present a trip hazard. We offer solutions to problems large and small, including do-it-yourself tips where applicable. If you or a loved one is experiencing difficul- ties with low vision or hearing loss, is confined to a wheelchair or is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease, let us know as there are special considerations we will take into account when perform- ing the assessment.
